Lamborghini Centenario limited edition

Lamborghini Centenario
Marking the 100th birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini — the Italian maestro whose vision oversaw the future of Lamborghini as a supercar maker — the company has revealed the Centenario, a 770 hp hyper-car that venerates the legacy of the late founder.
While the Centenario may look like an Aventador SV on steroids, the car is bodied entirely in carbon-fibre. It also possesses an edgy design theme, from the headlights and gaping air-intakes all the way to the massive front splitter and rear diffuser. The body has also been heavily modified to increase aerodynamic efficiency and downforce.
Power comes from the same 6.5-litre V12 powering the Aventador. But the latter has been tuned to pump out an impressive 770 hp. This, alongside a weight of 1520 kg, translates to a 0-100 kph acceleration time of just 2.8 seconds, before hitting the 300 kph mark in 23.5 seconds and the limiter at 350 kph.
Lamborghini plans to make 40 Centenario cars — half of them as coupes and the other half as roadsters. All of the 40 units have been sold already, with the base price sitting at Dhs 7 million. Expect a few to end up on the roads of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and parts of the GCC.
